Standard project terms
Every project is covered by a written proposal. Unless your proposal says otherwise, these terms apply:
- Deposit. 50% to start. Projects over $5,000 pay 40% to start, 30% at design approval and 30% at launch.
- Final payment. Due at launch or delivery. Final files and admin access are released when it clears.
- Payment terms. Invoices are due within 15 days. Late balances carry a 1.5% monthly late fee.
- Revisions. Two rounds are included. Extra rounds are billed at the hourly rate.
- Rush delivery. +25% for delivery in under two weeks; +50% for under 72 hours.
- Cancellation. The deposit is non-refundable. Completed work is billed at the hourly rate.
- Retainers. Three-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. Unused hours don’t roll over.
- Pass-through costs. Software, hosting, domains, stock and ad spend are billed at cost.
- Ownership. You own the final designs, site and app code on final payment. Lampso may show the work in its portfolio.
- Scope changes. New features or pages are quoted as a change order before work starts.
- Proposals. Proposals are valid for 60 days from the date they are sent.
- Nonprofits. Registered nonprofits receive 15% off project work.
Third-party services
Some projects rely on services such as hosting, domain registrars, Shopify or social platforms. Their own terms and pricing apply, and we can’t control outages or changes they make.
Limits
We work hard to deliver great work on time. Our total responsibility for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
